Tencel is a shiny, soft and smooth yarn that feels nice on the skin, like silk if not better!

It is an incredibly eco-friendly, manmade fibre, created in close loop production from the pulp of trees, mostly Eucalyptus. The close loop production, means that both the end product and the materials used are recycled and biodegradable.

Tencel yarn creates breathable and drapey knits, with great stitch definition. Perfect for shawls, bandanas and garments or blankets. 

Like the Bamboo/Linen, it has the tendency to grow, I usually go for a size smaller in garments but if you need accurancy a good blocked swatch is required. 

It takes botanical dyes to a different level, the colors are more saturated and deeper.

Care: hand wash in lukewarm water with ph neutral detergent, dry flat in the shadow!
