Botanical Study Yarn Club - Natural Dyeing Kit!

Here you can preorder your Natural Dyeing Kit for the January instalment of the Botanical Study Club. The plant of this month is Cosmos flower.

The kit is independent from the yarn club.

What you will get with this dyeing kit:

1) Undyed , scoured, mordanted, and set to be naturally dyed yarn.

2) 100 gr of dried cosmos flowers, multiple to the nr. of skeins that you will order.

3) Written Instructions.

Note, All the equipment used in the dyeing process, can not be used afterwards for food consumption or storage. The equipment is not included in he kit.

If your fiber of choice is wool, you will need to have a dedicated pot to dye the yarn. After using it, this pot can not be used to cook or process food.

For plant based fibers, hit is not necessary when dyeing the yarn, therefore any plastic, glass or metal container can be used instead of a pot, but again, that container can not be used afterwards for food consumption or storage.
