This listing is to order this month's colorway Golden Rain, dyed with the leaves of Golden Rain Tree.

This month's plant of the Botanical Study Club is actually a tree, the Golden Rain Tree. It is rich in tanins, actually too rich making it very difficult to ecoprint with iron mordant as it will turn the fabric almost black with the slightest amount of iron. 

As with all the rich in tanins trees, it is not necessary to mordat the fibers when dyeing with Golden Rain, however you get brightest colors when using alum. For this colorway i used both alum and iron to achieve the different shades and depth of color. 

Sappho apears a bit pale in the photo while its almost similar with the tencel, i'm sorry it is not very representetive of the true color, I only noticed it as i am creating the listing.

Linen Breeze gets dyed similarly to Bamboo/Linen, and wool is similar to Sappho.
