It is rich in tanins, actually too rich making it very difficult to ecoprint with iron mordant as it will turn the fabric almost black with the slightest amount of iron. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eAs with all the rich in tanins trees, it is not necessary to mordat the fibers when dyeing with Golden Rain, however you get brightest colors when using alum.
